Structure Inspection Program South Florida Water Management District / May 2008
EXND was selected as a sub consultant to Collins Engineers, Inc. to perform underwater inspection of 59 structures for the South Florida Waste Management District (SFWMD). These structures include culverts, spillways, weirs, pump stations and locks.  As part of the inspections, underwater video and photography was used to document the conditions.

Eastern Federal Lands Project for Federal Highway Administration Bridge Inspections  / June-October 2008
EXND was selected as a sub contractor to Collins Engineers, Inc. to perform underwater inspections on 11 bridges in two states and the District of Columbia. Structures inspected were pedestrian as well as vehicle bridges up to a mile in length. These bridges ranged from timber structures to 100 year old Granite structures.

Underwater Inspection with Collins Engineers / August 2008 – July 2009

ODOT (July 2009) Assistant Team Leader for 14 Structures. Bridges included tidal and non-tidal sites, with timber, steel and concrete construction types.

NYDOT (May-June 2009) Diving Supervisor/Lead Diver for 28 structures to include penetration dives inside the New York Canal Lock System.

MDOT (April 2009) Underwater inspection of 7 bridge and walkway structures. Underwater ultrasonic testing of Northrop Grumman dry dock number 11 gate (2008) which consisted of approximately 4000 readings.

DelDOT (2008) - Above and Underwater Bridge Inspection, Dive Supervisor/Asst Team Leader.  Underwater inspection of 20 bridges and above water and underwater inspection of 13 low clearance bridges.  Bridges included tidal and non-tidal sites, with timber, steel and concrete construction types.

SCDOT (2008) – Underwater Bridge Inspections, Dive Supervisor/Asst Team Leader.  Underwater Inspections for various bridges statewide.

New York State Canal Corporation (2008) – Underwater Inspection Utica Terminal Basin, Diver Supervisor/Asst Team Leader.  Underwater inspection of 1200 foot concrete retaining wall and 1000 timber piles.

New York State Canal Corporation (2008), Underwater Inspection Sand Lake Dam, – Dive Supervisor/Asst Team Leader.  Emergency inspection of Sand Lake Dam remotely located in the Adirondack Mountains.  Underwater and above water inspection of a masonry dam that is experiencing leakage through and under the dam.

USCG Structural Inspection for Aids to Navigation, MI, WI (2008) – Asst Team Leader.  Structural inspection of aids to navigation for the United States Coast Guard, CEU-Cleveland. Structures include skeleton towers, light houses, and steel post type structures. (5505)
